Creamy Corn Chowder
Chowder, Soup Recipe
Corn. Who doesn't love the flavor? This yummy and creamy Corn Chowder recipe is not only delicious, but very easy to make. Make it up ahead of time or serve it right away. Either way, you'll be happy with the results.
What you'll need:
- 3 slices of raw bacon, diced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 16-oz. can cream style corn

1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Chopped parsley for garnish
What to do:

Combine onion and diced bacon in microwaveable bowl, cover and mircowave on High Power 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain off grease.

Add corn, water, milk, salt and pepper to the cooked onion and bacon. Microwave uncovered on High Power for 4-5 minutes, or until serving temperature is reached.

Allow to stand covered for another 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
